
I started drinking this while on a diet when I couldn’t find a way to make my coffee enjoyable without my regular whole milk and sugary syrups! It was such a hard transition for me but having a fun drink that was still healthy helped me so much. I hope this encourages you that being healthy doesn’t mean having tasteless food and drink. Quite the opposite really! When you restrict certain unhealthy foods (that creep in everywhere, making you lack true variety) you can start to get creative and find unique ways of enjoying what you consume. I’ve enjoyed this diet so much more than I ever would’ve expected and this Oolong Blaze drink has been a part of my enjoyment! It’s warm and spicy, and in my opinion, the perfect drink for feeling cozy in the fall and winter. I’m so glad I get to share it with you today!
Ingredients:
10 oz Boiling Water
2 Oolong Tea Bags
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp Honey or Stevia
1/4 cup hot Almond Milk
Instructions:
Add the teabags, cinnamon, cayenne, and sweetener of your choice to the boiling water and steep for at least five minutes. Then heat up the almond milk. You can either use an espresso machine steam wand, or heat it on a pan on the stove. Then add the hot milk to the tea and sprinkle a bit of extra cinnamon on top. Enjoy!
